In this episode of Islands Uncovered, we start with a quick but important update on the weekly Sandals and Beaches 777 Sale, where seven rooms at each resort are discounted an extra 7% for a limited time including a new room in the brand new Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos. I break down what travelers should know about how to get last minute pricing, with a special focus on last-minute savings at Sandals Ochi in Jamaica and Sandals Negril, two resorts with loads of availability in February.
After the travel updates, we head to the island of Barbados to uncover one of the Caribbean’s most chilling and unexplained legends — the mystery of the Chase Vault. Inside a sealed stone burial vault at Christ Church Parish Church, heavy lead coffins were repeatedly found violently rearranged, despite no signs of entry, no broken seals, and no footprints left behind. From colonial-era eyewitness accounts to modern theories involving flooding, earthquakes, hoaxes, and the supernatural, we explore why this story has endured for over 200 years and why it remains one of the most famous mysteries in Caribbean history.
This episode blends luxury Caribbean travel planning with intriguing island folklore, reminding us that even the most beautiful destinations have secrets buried beneath the surface.

In this episode of Islands Uncovered, I’m diving into this week’s Sandals & Beaches 777 promo rooms which are seven specific room categories that are an extra 7% off for a limited time and then exactly how to stack them with the Gift the Caribbean sale for serious savings on an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation.
I break down what the 777 deal really is, why these seven discounted Sandals and Beaches resort rooms are such a big opportunity, and how pairing them with the Gift the Caribbean promotion can dramatically lower the cost of your Sandals honeymoon, adults-only Sandals vacation, or Beaches Resorts family getaway. I also hint at why Sandals St. Lucia resorts are especially strong this week, with standout room categories that offer both value and those iconic island views couples are searching for.
If you’re researching Sandals Resorts deals, Beaches Resorts promotions, 777 room deals, or the best time to book a luxury all-inclusive vacation in the Caribbean, this episode will help you understand what’s on sale right now and how to take advantage of it before the 777 rooms disappear.

Welcome to the debut episode of Islands Uncovered! In this first journey, I dive into the impacts of Hurricane Melissa and what is happening from a travel advisors perspective as we work to get clients taken care of.
But it’s not all about resorts. Islands Uncovered is about the people and culture that make the Caribbean so special. I also take a moment to celebrate the life and legacy of Jamaican culinary icon Norma Shirley, whose influence helped shape modern Caribbean cuisine.
Join me, your travel agent and island insider, as I blend travel tips with cultural storytelling as I try to uncover the heart and soul behind the destinations you love.
